Our baby got RSV at 5 weeks and Stella was our rock. She would gently but thoroughly clear her nose to keep her breathing well, and closely monitored her throughout the nights. Ordinarily I would have been freaked out about sleeping when I had a super sick newborn, but Stella was so knowledgeable about how to care for a sick newborn that I felt completely comfortable sleeping while she took care of her. In fact, my husband and I felt she was more knowledgeable on this than we were.

At around 10 weeks, our baby had round-the-clock viral diarrhea for 10 days. It was super stressful and hard, but Stella was again our rock. Even though our baby soiled her diaper every two hours, she never got a diaper rash -- probably because Stella was so diligent with diaper changing and recommended a better diaper cream than the one we were using.
